Message from the Principal
Dear Parents and Students,
This time of year is critical for our students and the success of our school. In less than a month we will begin our final exam/State Assessment schedule. You will receive the specific dates and times in the next two weeks by mail and we will also post the schedule on this site.
It is of utmost importance that our students be prepared for their final tests in order to ensure completion of required courses and exams. In order to provide additional support and preparation, please be aware:
· Our teachers provide regularly scheduled extra-help classes before, during and after school.
· We have a Period 9 homework/help center available every Tuesday and Wednesday in Room 104.
· Regents Review Live is available on your local cable network.
· Regentsprep.org provides online materials for all regents level subjects.
· Our after school program at NRHS provides regents preparation at no cost to students. Schedules are posted throughout the school.
· Private individual and group tutoring is also available at a cost to parents/students.
Now is the time to take advantage of one or more of these opportunities to improve performance on exams this June. The longer you wait to recognize the importance of daily preparation the more difficult it will be for you to make up for lost time.
Successful completion of state testing requirements is possible through thorough PREPARATION. MAKE IT HAPPEN!

North Rockland High School held the Music Honor Society Inductions on Wednesday, April 30, 2008. Congratulations to all of our amazing artists.
Raider Pride in Action - ConkerCancer
On Wednesday, April 9, 2008 students and staff participated in a community service project titled ConkerCancer. This dedicated group of volunteers sewed pillows to bring joy and comfort to those in need.
