NRHS STUDENTS FEATURED AT LOCAL HISTORY CONFERENCE

Stony Point, NY - The Executive Board of the Thomas FX Casey Social Studies Honor Society attended a conference on local history sponsored by the Rockland County Historical Society on April 9th at the Nanuet Comfort Inn. The conference was organized by retired NRHS math teacher Larry Singer, former Stony Point Town Supervisor Bill Sherwood, social studies coordinator Kevin Metcalf and teacherSteve Shepardson in conjunction with the Rockland Historical Society. Pictured behind them is a slab of the Berlin Wall located in the town of Stony Point in front of the courthouse on what used to be the Letchworth property located off of Willow Grove Road/Filor's Lane. The section of the Berlin Wall was part of their presentation on historical sites in North Rockland.

Yearbooks will be sold in June for $120 cash on a first come, first served basis.
